Privacy Policy

How Warweaver handles data collection and privacy. Last updated: January 2025.

Overview

Warweaver Kernel is middleware software that runs locally in your Unity project. This privacy policy covers data collection through our website (evaluation requests) and the behavior of the Warweaver SDK itself.

Core Principle: The Warweaver SDK executes entirely on your hardware. It does not send data to Warweaver or any third party unless you explicitly opt-in to future telemetry features (see "Future Considerations" below).

Website Data Collection

When you submit an evaluation request via our website, we collect the following information:

// EVALUATION_FORM_DATA
Work Email REQUIRED
Company/Studio Name REQUIRED
Engine Preference REQUIRED
Agent Scale REQUIRED
Project Type REQUIRED

How We Use This Data

  • [x] To review and respond to your evaluation request
  • [x] To provide SDK access and integration support
  • [x] To understand use cases and improve our product
  • [ ] We do NOT sell, rent, or share this data with third parties
  • [ ] We do NOT use this data for marketing or advertising

Warweaver SDK Behavior

The Warweaver SDK is middleware that runs within your Unity project. Here's what it does—and, more importantly, what it doesn't do:

// SDK_EXECUTION_MODEL
Execution Location LOCAL ONLY
Network Calls NONE
Telemetry Collection DISABLED
Data Transmission NONE
Analytics Tracking NONE

What This Means

  • [x] The SDK runs entirely on your hardware and within your Unity application
  • [x] No network requests are made by the SDK
  • [x] No performance data, agent behavior, or simulation state is sent to Warweaver
  • [x] All simulation data remains in your control
  • [ ] The SDK does NOT "phone home" or report usage to Warweaver
  • [ ] The SDK does NOT include any analytics or tracking libraries

Future Considerations

We are considering introducing an opt-in telemetry feature in future releases. This would be completely optional and disabled by default.

// OPT_IN_TELEMETRY (FUTURE)
Status NOT IMPLEMENTED
Default State DISABLED
Activation EXPLICIT OPT-IN REQUIRED
Data Type ANONYMIZED PERFORMANCE METRICS

Potential Benefits of Opt-In Telemetry

If we implement this feature, it would help us:

  • [x] Identify performance bottlenecks across different hardware configurations
  • [x] Optimize the SDK for real-world use cases
  • [x] Prioritize features based on actual usage patterns
  • [x] Ensure deterministic behavior across diverse environments

If implemented: Opt-in telemetry would be clearly documented, require explicit configuration to enable, and may include incentives (such as discounts on future licenses) to encourage participation. All data would be anonymized and used solely for product improvement.

Important: This feature does not exist today. The SDK you receive will have no telemetry capabilities. If we introduce this feature, we will update this privacy policy and provide clear documentation on how to opt-in or remain opted-out.

Data Retention & Your Rights

Data Retention

Evaluation request data is retained as long as necessary to process your request and provide SDK access. If you no longer wish to use Warweaver, you may request deletion of your evaluation data.

Your Rights

  • [x] Request access to your evaluation data
  • [x] Request correction of inaccurate information
  • [x] Request deletion of your evaluation data
  • [x] Opt-out of future communications (if applicable)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy as our practices evolve or if we introduce new features (such as opt-in telemetry). Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered evaluation users. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Note: This is a B2B middleware product. This policy is intended to be clear and transparent, not comprehensive legal documentation. For formal legal agreements, see our Evaluation License.
